2006

The Cozy Wardrobe- continued. The Valentine Cozy in Feb Group Shows through July include the Spheris Gallery, Hot Wax at the Studio Gallery, Art in the Avenues Group Show 12 x 12 at the Triton Museum in July Joined the West Coast Encaustic Artists group.

2005

The Cozy Wardrobe- commissioned by The Villas, Park Merced. Large knitted garments to fit The Tempest Cozy, a public art sculpture. Produced 5 new pieces including: the Spring Hat, Bikini, Hula Skirt, Witch's Hat, and the X-Mas Cozy. 15x15 Alumni Juried Benefit Exhibition and Sale, Maryland Institute Group shows include Melt, Art in the Avenues, Open Studios, Leaf Show, Friend of a Friend, Breast Cancer awareness fundraiser. Fun and Games and Tiny, at the Studio Gallery, SF. Palace of Legion of Honor- guest artist working with the Artwear Exhibit Continue teaching encaustic workshops and knitting classes. Produced yet another dazzling line of Head Cozies, (aka hand knitted hats).

2004

Artful ReCreations *juror's award. show based on art made from recycled stuff. The Tempest Cozy part of Hearts in San Francisco public art project to raise money for SFGH. traveled to Berlin, Germany. developed a line of handmade knitting needles and head cozies (knitted hats)

2003

Awarded the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco Residency and solo exhibition The Lure of Encaustic Painting, taught at the Sharon Arts and Fogbelt Studio, Sf Member of Artspan Council. Redhead Media works with Artspan, the producers of SF Open Studios, to design graphics for 2003 Guide to SF Artists "Follow Your Art", Source of Empowerment, Woman as Symbol. Cal. Institute of Integral Studies, SF. juried show Female as Vessel as Female; the Journey of Elevation. San Francisco Art Council group show.

2002

More work with rock stars: Neil Young, the Eagles, Bonnaroo Music Festival rediscovered Abby Road by the Beatles Beaux & Eros- Tribute to St. Valentine. Vorpal Gallery San Francisco Insects! Randall Museum, San Francisco. group show began work on Oology Series collaborated on 5 elements of being a painter a book project by Egon Fjortaj The Lure of Painting with Wax Article co-written with Tina Vietmeier for the Artspan 2002 guide

2001

Designed and navigated DVD’s and DVD audio disks for rock –n- rollers

Began the Figurescape painting studies and Landscape painting studies

INK & CLAY 27 Juried by Marti Koplin. California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, Ca.

2000
Traveled to Asia to study Japanese baths, bookmaking, paper making, contemporary art and then to Thailand to paint portraits of exotic faces.

Returned to work with Neil Young; this time designing graphics for the 2000 summer tour; and website graphics, making videos and editing stuff, design and navigation of dvds, plus

Basic rock –n- rollin’. Went to Hawaii and worked with Upstream Multimedia shooting +

Editing video for the production of Big Island Transmission, an online streaming 22 minute music video of Neil’s rehearsals of the tune Words + other groovy songs.

Joined the Sunset Artist Society

Met painter/friend Tina Lauren Vietmeier, and instituted Redhead Media

1999

Three months intern launching Amazon Internet Auction

Six month self imposed exile border of Vermont and Canada to paint and live

Continued study of abstract portraits, large scale bath paintings & read more poetry by Rilke

1998
Attended the Vermont Studio Center Residency Program.

Began the study of abstract portraits monoprints and began using encaustic paint

Introduced to the work of Rainer Maria Rilke and Robert Creeley.

Hired by VSC as the print shop tech. Worked with some pretty amazing artists: Pat Adams,

Phoebe Adams, James Boharty, Robert Birmelin, Robert Creeley, Joel Fisher,

David Humphrey, Carl Plansky, Paul Rotterdam, Rudy Serra, Ann Spery, John Walker.

1997
Contributed to the building of the H.O.R.D.E. traveling Lionel train layout

Worked as cartographer on probably the largest train layout in northern CA.

1996
Certified and deployed by FEMA as a building inspector for structures affected by natural disasters in N. Carolina, Puerto Rico and Ohio
1992-1996
Self proprietor of a 32 machine Laundromat painted on-the-side on a series called “table top art” using cels and overlays.
1990
Odd but important jobs at a coffee shop and selling very fine hand made shoes

Painted a lot. exhibited locally and curated shows in new art space full of potential

Moved to San Francisco with friend and painter Lisa Salamandra on Friday October 13.
